David Gilroy denies murdering Suzanne at Thistle Street, Edinburgh or elsewhere in Scotland by means unknown to the prosecutor on May 4 2010.
The jury in the Suzanne Pilley murder trial left the High Court in Edinburgh at lunchtime on Wednesday to inspect the locations where the book keeper was last seen alive.
They were joined by judge Lord Bracadale - who chose not to wear his ceremonial robes - defence counsel Jack Davidson QC and prosecution lawyer Alex Prentice QC.
The man accused of murdering Suzanne - David Gilroy, 49, - also went on the visit to Edinburgh City Centre. Mr Gilroy was accompanied by members of his legal team.
Mark Heron, 47, a senior scene examiner with the Scottish Police Services Authority was also present on the visit.
A team of police officers were also present. The officers were there to assist the jury members and the legal teams on their visit.
The court had earlier heard from Mr Heron about how he helped examine the area days after Suzanne disappeared on May 4 2010.
A mini bus carrying the jury members arrived at the side of Jenner's Department store in South St David Street at 2.02pm.
The legal party shared pavement space with shoppers and workers on their lunchtime break.
They first stopped outside a branch of Sainsburys. The court had earlier heard that Suzanne was seen on CCTV buying items from there on May 4.
The jury members then walked up South St David Street, past the Amarone Italian restaurant and crossed the road at the junction with George Street.
They then continued to walk up South St David Street before turning left onto Thistle Street.
The jury then went into the office block where Suzanne worked.
Gilroy denies murdering Suzanne at Thistle Street, Edinburgh or elsewhere in Scotland by means unknown to the prosecutor on May 4 2010.
He has also pleaded not guilty to six other charges which allege he committed a series of criminal acts between January 2009 to June 2010.
The trial before Lord Bracadale continues on Thursday morning.
