A reward is being offered in a bid to catch a man and woman who attacked and robbed a pensioner in his own flat in Leith.
The couple barged into 91-year-old John Lambert's flat on Duke Street last Friday, pushing him to the ground before stealing £200 from his wallet.
The pair rifled through the property and even ripped a phone from the wall so Mr Lambert could not call for help.
Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is offering £3,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
The woman is described as being around 40, 5ft 6in tall, of thin build, with long hair and was wearing dark clothes.
The man is also described as aged about 40 and is 5ft 10in tall, with a skinny build. He was clean shaven, had a local accent and was also wearing dark clothing.
